Lucas Tkachyk is a Registered Physiotherapist who holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from McMaster University. His education and clinical training have provided him with experience working with patients of different ages, activity levels, and functional needs across a variety of healthcare settings.

Lucas treats a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, focusing on helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility and strength, improve function, and return to the activities that matter to them.

With a longstanding personal background in strength training and exercise, Lucas has a particular interest in progressive, exercise-based rehabilitation. His treatment plans may incorporate therapeutic exercise, progressive strengthening, mobility training, manual therapy, patient education, and practical self-management strategies based on each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Lucas believes that effective physiotherapy should be both collaborative and individualized. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, and lifestyle, and adjusts treatment as recovery progresses. His goal is not only to help patients recover from their current injury or condition, but also to build confidence in movement and provide the knowledge and tools needed to support long-term health and function.

Lucas is committed to providing evidence-informed, patient-centred physiotherapy care and helping each patient work toward meaningful, sustainable improvements in mobility, strength, and overall function.
